Blah, Blah, Blah

So.
Yah.
Hello.

Wanna see some pictures?
Rejects from our Christmas card.

Ryan designs our card.
Have I told you that?
He's amazing.
But.
Then.
I am biased.

The picture he actually used for the card.
Was taken with his phone.
His phone takes better pics than my camera.
Pretty pathetic. Those are some cute kids.

Cute kids that are always hungry.
Wow.
I'm constantly cooking.
Baking.
Grocery shopping.

Tried making crackers today.
Didn't roll them out near thin enough.
And the recipe needs tweaking.
Not salty enough.
I like salty.
Yummy.

Cute kids that are dirty.
Two loads of laundry down today.
Infinity to go.

So.
Yah.
Good-bye.

Ummm...

I know I talk about laundry.
Alot.
But, we're a family of six.
Laundry happens around here.
Alot.

Yesterday.
Folding socks.
La, la. La, la. La.
Hmmm.
That's odd.

Brookelynn.
32 socks.
Yes, I counted.

Jake.
6 socks.
Brookelynn.
16 perfectly matched pairs.

Jake.
1 matched pair.
4 singles.

Questions.
1. How can my daughter go through 16 pairs of socks?
(in about a week)
2. How can my son go through 1 pair and 4 singles?
(in the same amount of time)

Me: Brookelynn, how is this possible?
B: I don't know; I like clean socks.

Yes you do.
And apparently, Jake doesn't.

Can we find a balance, please?

No Time...

to blog today.
I've got laundry to fold instead.
The laundry that I did yesterday.
And that my guy had to dig through this morning.
To find his dress socks.
Not that that's anything unusual.
So I'm folding.
See.
But while I'm telling you
that I don't have time to blog,
might as well tell one story.
Since I've logged on and all.

Yesterday Brookie and Jakie had friends over after school.
Which is the case nearly everyday,
since we live a block from the school.

Anyway,
Jake and his friend, Eli, were playing football...
with mini football helmets.
No football.
No tackling.
They just put two mini helmets together
and decide who wins.

So Brookelynn's friend, Louisa asks,
"What are you doing?"
Boys: "Ummm, hello. Playing football."
To which she replies:
"I don't understand boys."
Eli's response?
"That's okay. I don't understand myself yet either."

It was my laugh of the day.

Off to put that laundry away.
And unload the dishwasher.
And sweep the floor.
And pick up the family room.
And go shopping with my mom and sister-in-law.
And go to 2 basketball practices.
And 1 basketball game.

I told you.
No time.
