Umm...No

Really?
Send my 6th grader on a trip to England and France.

I looked it up.
Only about $5,000.
And only for 14 days.

Sure.
I'll let my daughter go.
On a trip that costs 5 times more than we've ever paid
for a vacation for our entire family.
On the other side of the world.
With chaperons that I don't know.
For two weeks.
To countries that I've been dying to go to.

Ha!
They are funny people.

Is this just ridiculous to me?
Would you let your 11 year old daughter go?
Has anybody else gotten one of these?

After all the bad things you hear about kids disappearing on these vacations I would never let my daughter go w/o me holding her hand the whole time! It does sound fun though, but life is full of disappointment. :)

I got something similar for Logan. Even at 15, I thought they must be out of their mind to think we would even consider it.

As hard as it seems to think about which i can not and i have a 5th grade daughter. I have a friend who's daughter was invited to go with them on a trip to Canada. And she went, she did fundrasiers, and raise almost all the money, her church donated some money to her. She had the most wonderful experience, had a great time, and came home safe. Again i can not even begin to think i would or could send my child but i have heard it is pretty impressive to be choosen to go and not many get that opportunity. Good luck with your decision
