Fingerprint Friday

Wednesday night Ryan and I were out in the yard enjoying a gorgeous evening, when we heard some rustling in the tree above us.
We looked up to see baby squirrels. I ran to get the camera and called to the two little boys to come see. The boys quickly lost interest and went back to playing with the recently captured crawdads.
But Ryan and I watched, took pictures and watched some more. There are five here.
After a while Ezra came over and said, "You're still looking at them?"

To which I replied, "Mommy is ____ (insert age here, 29 or younger would be nice, thank you) years old and she has never seen baby squirrels." He was very unimpressed.

Count the six bushy tails. We thought we might have seen as many as eight.
And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds...And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds...And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:24-25

Each week pamperingbeki hosts Fingerprint Fridays and uses a song by Steven Curtis Chapman as a springboard. Join in if you can. It's a great way to be reminded of God's goodness.
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

Oh my gosh! Thanks for sharing those pictures! I'm 29.5 years old (and holding) and have NEVER seen baby squirrels, either!

That's a beautiful tree, too!

How cute. I have squirrels running around in the woods behind me all the time, but I've never seen babies either (sorry, not inserting my age here). I'm glad you got some really great photos of the memorable event!

Wow! After 39 years (I like your idea of___insert age better), I have never seen a family of squirrels either! Thank you for sharing pictures, they are awesome!

Hey, I'm a few years past 29, and I haven't seen baby squirrels - I'd have been staring for a long time myself! How cool!

First, that is ADORABLE!

Second, you had me laughing in tears at your age comment.

Third, you rock.

Fourth, Happy Mother's Day!
