We have plenty of leaves.
The kids and I cleaned them all up on halloween.
Well, not off the yard.
But off the patio, porch, driveway.
Brookelynn did much complaining.
Just imagine a typical whiny voice here.
"Why are we doing this?"
"There's just going to be more."
"Can we quit now?"
I'll just let you imagine my responses.
They were all said in the kindest way possible, of course.
Jump forward one week.
We left for KC for the weekend.
And this is what greeted us when we got home.
Apparently, the two maples near our front porch
decided to shed all of their leaves at once.
This area was leaf free a week ago.
Thanks to my kids' hard (haha) work.
They are gorgeous.
And the front of the house looks so bare when I clean them up.
But you can't even see the steps.
I'm afraid someone,
probably me,
is going to fall on them.
And break something.
And sue me.
And then I won't have any money for Christmas presents
for my poor children.
So I was serious the other day.
When I asked if you needed leaves.
We still have them.
Come get some.
I'll let you gather them up on your own and everything.
Exercise is good.

I normally don't like to admit to reading blogs because I find most annoying, but I LOVE yours--I feel like if I still lived in Kansas, we would definitely be friends. Thanks for the fun reading!

Wow, Stacie. Thanks for your kind words. If you ever return to Kansas, please let me know. It would be super fun to meet you. Seriously. : )
