My first harvest from the garden.

Wow was it easy.
And it's pretty tasty too.
Now I'm just waiting for the
tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers.
Then I just might possibly enjoy the best salad ever.
Cuz there's nothing like your very own,
fresh from the backyard, produce.

Those greens look so good! I have little green tomatos starting to form on my plants. I can't wait till I can go outside and pick everything fresh for dinner!
Thank you for commenting on my garage sale. I came to the same conclusion you did---a waste of time. I am donating the rest to the humane society so it makes me feel better and I don't have to haul it all back into the house :)
I tried lettuce this year too....it died already.
Good job, you prarie woman!!
mmmm, it's so crisp & refreshing, isn't it? Lucky you - lettuce doesn't grow well where I live...
Thanks for stopping by today, and thank you for your prayers for Karen. They are much needed - she is having a port surgically installed & more chemo tomorrow.
